READING LOGS!
Effective August 19th, reading logs
can be turned in at the reference desk. Please write your name
and phone number on the log to be entered into a drawing for more
prizes at the end of August! The last day to turn in logs is
Sunday, August 31, 2008.

IS YOUR CHILD'S READING GOING TO THE DOGS?
LET'S HOPE SO!
Bring your new and emerging reader (grades K-3) to the Calabasas
Library to share in a unique reading program. Therapy dogs, trained
through Paws 4 Healing, will sit (or lie!) and listen while your child
experiences the joy of reading aloud.

Library Policies
Library 2004-2005 Annual ReportLibrary services are
provided to Calabasas residents. The Library was taken over from Los Angeles
County by the City of Calabasas and officially became the
Calabasas Library on July 11, 1998. The Calabasas
Library is located at 200 Civic Center Way (map).

The Friends of
the Calabasas Library are a volunteer group of citizens that
organize events for the Calabasas residents to enjoy. The
Friends of the Calabasas Library meet at the library on the
first Wednesday of every month at 7:30pm.
The Calabasas
Library now has Morningstar Mutual Funds. Morningstar is
the most-trusted and most-often-cited source of unbiased mutual
fund information. And Morningstar Mutual Funds is the
most comprehensive and authoritative resource for evaluating,
comparing and choosing mutual funds.
