Online Catalog
Find, check the status of, and even hold books at the
Calabasas Library Online Catalog
To access your library account:
- Click on
Calabasas Library Online Catalog
- Click on My Info
- Enter your library card number
- Enter your last name as the password.
To place a hold on an item
- Open up the record of the item you want
- Click on E-mail request
- Fill out the hold request form and send. |

time users MUST come into the Library to sign up for an account.

Literacy Campaign
The
Calabasas Library is participating in First 5’s “Read Early, Read
Aloud” Literacy Campaign. This program is to encourage parents and
caregivers to read aloud to children ages 5 and younger.
When you register for a library card during the month of November you
will receive a FREE First 5 LA tote bag and tip sheet. All
participates will get a bracelet.
The library is adding a story time for the month of
November only on Tuesdays at 10:30 in addition to our regular story

IS YOUR CHILD'S
READING GOING TO THE DOGS?
LET'S HOPE SO!

Bring
your new and emerging reader (grades K-3) to the Calabasas Library
to share in a unique reading program. Therapy dogs, trained through
Paws 4 Healing, will sit (or lie!) and listen while your child
experiences the joy of reading aloud.

Get tutoring help at the Calabasas Library!!
Most Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30p.m. to 4:30p.m.
in the Calabasas Library meeting room.
The Calabasas Library Study Buddies program
allows Calabasas elementary and middle school students to get free
help with homework at the Calabasas Library. High school students
are available to help elementary and middle school students with
their homework and to work on study skills. For more information,
contact the library for availability at (818) 225-7616.
PEER COUNSELING
Peer
counseling (9th through 12th grades) is available in the Young Adult
area on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Calabasas Library.
Drop in between the hours of 3:30pm to 5:30pm
to get help on Math, English, or the latest school project.

The Alliance for Young Artists & Writers, presents The
Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. The Awards recognize student
achievement in the visual arts and creative writing. This year, the
Alliance and its 81 Regional Affiliates will review more than
140,000 submissions of art and writing by creative teenagers from
across the country.
