DEPARTMENT PROFILE |

Transportation is responsible for providing a safe and efficient transportation
system that supports a balanced use of vehicular, pedestrian, transit and
bicycle activity while servicing the residential, commercial and industrial
needs of the community. This includes oversight of the design and maintenance
of all traffic control devices and pole lighting on City property, sign,
marking, signal and lighting maintenance, traffic signal operation, lighting,
and the bus shelter program.
