City of Calabasas – CDBG Funded Assistance
Programs
The City of Calabasas
utilizes its Federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding to
provide housing rehabilitation and public service programs to serve the
needs of its low- and moderate-income residents. Participation is based on
income eligibility limitations (see below) and additional program
requirements apply. Assistance is provided only for Calabasas residents and
properties. Funding is limited, and provided on a first-come, first-served
basis.
Residential Rehabilitation Program
The Residential
Rehabilitation program provides financial assistance for the repair of
single family residential properties, including mobile homes on permanent
foundations. Funds are available for direct grants of up to $5,000, and
deferred zero percent interest loans of up to $10,000, depending upon
housing type and needs. A wide range of exterior and interior repairs are
eligible for funding including plumbing, electrical, roofing, and painting.

ALS Association Case
Management Project
The Amyotrophic
Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), Greater Los Angeles Chapter, provides counseling
and support services to persons suffering from ALS (Lou Gehrig’s) disease.
If you or someone you know is interested in receiving assistance for ALS or
needs more information about ALS, please contact the ALS Association,

To
participate in the above listed programs, total household income must not
exceed the following income eligibility limits, adjusted for household size:
